The Athol-Royalston Education Foundation
The Athol-Royalston Education Foundation, Inc. is an independent non-profit community organization that provides a permanent fund to support innovative educational programs, partnerships and enrichment activities which are outside the funding normally provided in the school budget for Athol and Royalston children.
Our goals
- To encourage the involvement of parents and community members in our schools
- To enrich the education of our children by mobilizing the resources of the community
- To support innovative programs and enrichment activities that are beyond the normal funding capacity of the school district
We do this by
- Distributing mini-grants to local teachers and community members for creative projects
- Raising funds for those projects via
- Individual memberships
- Gala fundraising events
